Johnny B. Thomas, Jr., 36, of Tappahannock died on Monday, February 19 at his residence.
He is survived by his parents: Johnny and Dorothea Thomas of Tappahannock, a sister, Diandra Thomas of Wilkes-Barre, PA, a brother, Darryl Thomas (Kerry) of King George. his grandmother, Dorothy Flakes of Alabama; his grandfather, Johnnie Thomas of Washington D.C., three aunts: Sireta E. Parker and Muriel Thomas both of Alabama and Goldie Wheeler of Fredericksburg, VA; four uncles: Curtis Jones (Ann), Phillip Junior Jones, Kenneth Jones and Larry Jones (Jackie); two great aunts: Pearl Holmes and Elsie Anderson and one great uncle Bernard Ware.
A viewing will be held on Friday, February 23 from 12:30-6 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 1:30 p.m. in the Essex High School auditorium.
